Library Services Platform Participation Reaches 107 Colleges

At the close of day on October 31st, the announced deadline, the Library Services Platform Project had received Institution Participation Agreements from 107 colleges. The vendor, Ex Libris, has agreed to a two-week extension to give those seven colleges who have not joined a bit of extra time to reconsider. The overwhelming participation rate—94% of colleges in a single cycle of adoption-- represents a clear endorsement of a system that will increase our collaboration, improve our workflow, create more equity, and ultimately, better connect our students, faculty and staff to high-quality resources.

Thanks to all who ushered through the participation agreements at their institutions. The amount of time and effort required to do so was significant and represents our librarians’ commitment to this project statewide.

Implementation forms are being distributed to all participating colleges over the next couple of days. In order to ensure delivery, please indicate who will serve as your college's LSP Project Lead here: http://bit.ly/lsp_lead no later than Wednesday, November 14th. Please only name one lead for each college.
